My Story

For as long as I can remember, I've been a maker. Creating has always brought a calm to my mind like nothing else. But as with any hobby, life got in the way and time slipped by without a chance to create. In November 2021, I was grinding the hectic, working mom life. Feeling like I was failing as a mom, wife, and employee, I knew something had to give. With the unwavering support of my husband, I decided to quit my job. Although I suddenly had hours of extra time at my disposal, I soon realized that I was only replacing previous tasks with new ones. So, I embarked on a journey of self-exploration and perfecting my inner crafting self. Although I didn't realize it at the time, I needed a new purpose.

With a deep-rooted love for the environment, I have always enjoyed cherishing Earth's treasures. I found myself gathering discarded items and stowing them away for later use. Whether it was the neighbor's trash pile, a family member's wood scraps, or dusty thrift store items, I knew they would come in handy. I knew they still had a place to be loved. Cue the magic of the holiday season. With my "trash" and the help of some great Christmas sales, I started creating and have never looked back. I find immense joy in bringing new life to what was once left behind. My pieces are unique and imperfect - just as they should be.

I now spend my days balancing life’s treasures - family, friends, and crafting. With their imagination and creativity, my beautiful children bring joy to my life in ways I never imagined. My charming husband, and ultimate supporter, lovingly tolerates my crafting mayhem daily. His determination and fortitude give me inspiration every day. As a family, we love exploring the Indian River Lagoon on our boat and fun activities around the Treasure Coast of Florida where we reside.
